Graduate Students Now Eligible for Christian Service Scholarship

黑料科聽is pleased to announce expanded eligibility for the聽Lee Scholarship聽program, which is聽dedicated to聽equipping those called to聽various forms of聽Christian service. Established聽by the late聽George and Grace Lee, the fund聽provides financial support for聽students聽pursuing undergraduate and聽graduate聽degrees as they prepare for service聽in pastoral ministry, missions, music ministry, Christian education,聽non-profit management,聽and other service roles within churches and Christian organizations.

With this expansion, graduate students enrolled in programs such as the聽Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT)听补苍诲听迟丑别听Master of Business Administration (MBA)聽are now eligible for support through the Lee Scholarship. These programs prepare graduates to serve faithfully and effectively as educators, organizational leaders, and administrators in faith-based schools, churches, and nonprofit ministries.

鈥淭he George and Grace Lee Christian Scholarship Fund聽continues聽its long history of supporting students as they answer their call to Christian service,鈥 said Wayne D.聽Lewis, Jr., president of 黑料科.聽By combining financial support with service-based forgiveness, the fund empowers future leaders鈥攊ncluding educators and nonprofit and organizational leaders鈥攖o enter ministry-focused careers without the burden of significant educational debt.鈥

The scholarship is awarded in the form of聽a聽forgivable loan, providing students with financial聽assistance聽of up to聽half-tuition聽for courses聽required聽to complete their degree program.聽Upon completion of the degree, the聽loan is forgiven at a rate of聽50% for each year聽of qualifying full-time Christian service.聽Two years of qualifying service聽result in聽full loan forgiveness.

Today, as a youth pastor in a small Pennsylvania church, I鈥檓 able to invest in students from many backgrounds because I鈥檓 not weighed down by student debt. My degree in Christian Ministry prepared me to share biblical truth and the love of Jesus with them every day.
