The Scholar-Servant Fund is an undesignated, current-use fund that allows Houghton leadership to direct donated financial resources to whichever of our students鈥 needs will benefit most from the support. Your gift to the Scholar-Servant Fund is an investment in a student鈥檚 complete college experience, from academic life to spiritual life to residence life.

Scholarships are a great way to support the education of Houghton students, but they aren鈥檛 our students鈥 only needs. They need outstanding faculty and staff to invest in them, inspire them and encourage them. Students need technology and equipment to support hands-on learning necessary to thrive in their vocational callings. They need co-curricular and extra-curricular programming to support their growth as whole persons. The needs of college students are varied and many, and to ensure these needs are all met, 黑料科 is introducing the Scholar-Servant Fund.

The Scholar-Servant Fund is inclusive of the Student Scholarship Fund, and scholarship funds will always remain a significant need for our students. But the Scholar-Servant Fund goes beyond scholarships to support the development of the whole person while offering University leadership the flexibility to ensure that every aspect of our students鈥 experiences have the funding support necessary to ensure the highest quality.
