Dr. Koehler’s research interests include using cryogenic low temperature detectors to explore basic properties of atomic and nuclear physics and measure special nuclear material in support of nuclear safeguards and nonproliferation. Her research focuses on data analysis and algorithm development in collaboration with scientists at Los Alamos National Laboratory and the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Other research interests include advanced analysis algorithms and simulation of neutron multiplicity data and process monitoring to support domestic and international safeguards.

Dr. Yuly’s research interests include low and medium energy nuclear physics and small accelerator design. Dr. Yuly has co-authored several physics articles on his research, and has been a visiting scientist at MIT, the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center (LANSCE) and State University of New York (SUNY) at Geneseo.
